Sr. Manager - Solutions Engineering (Pre-Sales)


What We are looking for..

  • Ability to understand the customer’s business use case and clearly articulate the possible way the company's products can help in address these business concerns.
  • Once the initial approach is understood/accepted by the customer, the solution Architect has to develop on the use case and capture the customer’s specific wants.
  • Work closely with teams like the remote Solution Engineering, Product, Engineering & various cross functional teams to create required solution.
  • Once the Technical proposal is received from the internal teams, map this proposal to the original business want being addressed.
  • Presentation to the customer and work through the feedback till overall solution value has been established. 
  • Achieve OB & Revenue Target for Sales teams being supported.
  • Capable of instructing professional or technical staff and reviewing the quality of the work undertaken by these teams.
  • Capable of identifying key issues and priorities and focusing on these to deliver required results with minimal direction and supervision. 
  • Demonstrate a level of flexibility in resolving problems/issues in technology , processes and tools, within the relevant field of specialization.
  • Able to identify problems and significantly improve, recommend changes or adapt existing methods and techniques


What do you need to have:

Technical Expertise:-

 

  • Knowledge of various technologies & services Like MPLS, Internet, Ethernet & SDWAN
  • Concept of Routing Protocols like Static, BGP, OSPF
  • Network Security products: Firewall, UTM, Proxy, IDS & IPS,
  • Expertise in any of the Technology of Network/Data Centre/Security/Unified Communication
  • Understanding on Enterprise Architecture including Data Centre, Cloud, Security Landscape & Network (WAN) for the customer
  • Knowledge of Unified Communication if any
  • Customer facing Experience in terms of Opportunity understanding, BOQ & Solution proposal Creation experience is preferred.

Requisite: -

 

  • Should have minimum 6-8 Yrs of experience with 3-4 years of experience in Pre-sales function.
  • Exposure towards working in the RFP cases
  • Experience of catering to Enterprise customers
  • Graduate degree preferable
