Sr. Manager - Solutions Engineering (Pre-Sales)


Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible to provide Subject Matter Expertise to the European Sales community on a broad range of Unified Communications & Collaboration and Contact Centre services.
Providing expert resource to Pre-Sales resources, enabling the creation of high quality and compelling solutions.
Working with commercial specialist on; creation, communication and monitoring of strategic sales plans.
Operating as the Voice of the Market for the European region, consolidating learnings from the Sales community and providing direct input to the Product owners.
Analysing service maturity and capability, providing direct feedback into Product peers on elements requiring optimisation and development.
Driving Product Interlock engagements, identify opportunities for improving operational efficiency, scalability & economy and drive related initiatives.
Representing Tata Communications in direct customer engagements and regional marketing events to increase brand awareness and propagate a strong value proposition to our target market.
Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering - Telecommunications/ Computer science/ Networking or comparable industry expertise.
 

Experience

Minimum of 6 - 10 years of work experience with Pre-Sales, Service Architecture or Product Management in the telecommunication industry with strong enterprise customer focus
Strong experience in customer requirements discovery, design and implementation of complex network and UCC/SIP based telephony solutions.
Preference to have global organisation exposure and having experience of working across cultures in high growth environments
 

Required Skills:

Extensive technical knowledge and working experience in UCC across IP Networks.
Experience in technical sales support, design and implementation of UCC technologies.
Strong knowledge and experience in building SIP based telephony solution for large enterprise customers.
Working experience in building Microsoft TEAMS UCC solution and its supporting components to setup full enterprise cloud telephony.
Working experience in Datacentre, Cloud environment (ex. AWS, MS Azure, Google)
Proficient in Microsoft Office products (e.g. Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Power BI) and Salesforce.com
Strong interpersonal skills, Strong communicator, Strong presentation skills, knowledge of 'Solutions Selling' basics
Flexibility and ability to work in a dynamic and ambiguous condition
