Carrier Relations Manager
We are looking for an experienced Carrier Relations Manager for the telecom services department. This individual will be focused on selling the company's business messaging (and voice) products to industry market players such as: MNOs, MVNOs, Traffic Aggregators, API Cloud Communication Platforms, Digital Marketers and others.
The Carrier Relations Manager will be required to build and develop strong relationships with the clients and become their go-to resource and primary point of contact.
Responsibilities
• Developing new businesses by engaging with relevant market players in different regions
• Maintaining relationship and up-sell to the company's existing customers.
• Create and maintain valuable wholesale traffic swap deals
• Evaluate and price new deals
• Buying best in class termination rates in the fields of SMS and Voice.
• Act as the point of contact between the customer and the company for all the sales cycle
• Work closely with Finance, Routing and technical departments to enable business operation
• Provide support to other departments on different aspects such as: business, financial, others.
• Monitor performance of customer in respect of quality and costs to meet company's targets and objectives
• Administer cost Rate and Code changes from Carriers/Operators
Desired Skills & Experience
• 3+ years of professional experience with SMS and Messaging market
• Telecom wholesale experience in Messaging and Voice. Exchanging traffic between carriers, finding opportunities, creating Swap deals for revenue and Margin.
• In-depth knowledge of the A2P SMS market including market rates, market conduct and procedures
• Strong negotiation skills - commercial minded
• Great communication skills, communicates effectively at every level
• Excellent analytical skills and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Fluent in English; other languages are an advantage
• Familiar with finance and accounting procedures
• Team player, target driven, self-motivated and works well under pressure
