Sales Manager – Carrier Business


Job Purpose:

• Responsible for selling Infrastructure, IDC and IP Transit to ISP/MNO/SI/ Service Providers,

  etc. achieving the TCV/BR targets assigned (= total contract value and billed revenue).

• Responsible for signing new logos only.

• Responsible for MSA/SLA negotiation + Credit Checks and utmost After-Sales Care.

• Responsible for maintaining excellent internal and external customer relationships: the

  candidate must be a strong relationship builder, demonstrate TRUST, RELIABILITY,

  COLLABORATION. The candidate should demonstrate how to engage in regular feedback

  and open dialogue internally and externally as this will bring continuous improvement to

  CMI, fast growing company but still young.

  The products to sell under our iConnect branding, for this position, are:

  iConnect Data: IPLC/IEPL/MPLS/SD-WAN/IPT&DIA/4G-5G Access/Colocation/ Cloud Connect


Job Functions:

- SALES: Acquire RFP/ business opportunities and finalise deals to meet revenue target.

  Business Region: Companies headquartered in UK&I, the Nordics, Benelux, Greece

- PRE-SALES: Work closely with Solution, Product & Pricing teams in order to find the best

  solution for the client, manage Master Service Agreement/SLA negotiations and establish

  meaningful relationships to close deals- AFTER-SALES: Support Project Management, NOC and      Finance teams if any issues arise

  during and after delivery

- OPERATOR MARKET PENETRATION : Develop a business relationship between CMI and

  the local MNOs, where possible.

- MARKETING: Promote company's International and develop the business by attending

  industry events, marketing activities and visiting clients

- INNOVATION: Responsible for supporting HQ with local market knowledge and suggests

  improvement plans

- TEAM WORK: collaborate with other UK Team members and with HQ teams for common

  goals


Job Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree or above, Telecommunication related subjects are an added value

- Minimum 8 years of experience in telecom infrastructure industry, at least 4 years’

  hands-on sales experience in the Carrier Wholesale market with proven track record of

  sales results

- Knowledge of the iConnect Data product-type, Submarine and Terrestrial fibre networks,

  IDC and IP Products

- Ability to create leads and work through the Sales Process till finalization of a deal

- Accountable, self-motivated and able to work under pressure

- Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment and understanding of Chinese Culture

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional European

  languages can be an important added value (Dutch preferably)
