Sales Engineer, Brazil



 1. Role overview 
The Sales Engineer facilitates the interactions with the current and prospective customers in the Brazilian market, explaining the technical, functional and commercial aspects of the company’s services. Specifically the Sales Engineer: 
1.1. Delivers presentations to prospective customers that explain the company’s services, customer benefits, as well as key technical aspects of the services in a simple and effective terms. 
1.2. Liaises with the company’s pre-sales team to interpret customer requirements and propose the best solution for the customer needs. 
1.3. Provides answers to client’s technical and commercial questions about the company’s services, technical aspect of the services, pricing, key terms and conditions of the company’s Contract and others. 
1.4. Supports the company’s sales team in negotiating contract terms with the prospective customers. 
1.5. Markets the company’s services to prospective customers in Brazil and promotes the company’s brand. 
1.6. Assists company’s Operations team in developing the company’s network in Brazil as needed, including but not limited to assisting in installation and maintenance of telecommunication 
1.7. Represents company’s in industry events, as requested by the company’s management team. 
1.8. Provides market intelligence and ongoing feedback to the company’s Business development team regarding the Brazilian telecommunication market, including but not limited to price levels of similar offerings, market development, strategy of the main players etc. 
2. Requirements 
2.1. Telecommunication experience of 3+ years, preferably in the network operations. 2.2. Excellent understanding of IP and peering Telecommunication Services.
2.3. Native Portuguese (Brazil), Good command of English.
2.4. Good knowledge of market participants, prospective clients. 
3. Skills 
3.1. Strong ability to quickly comprehend and explain telecommunication concepts in simple, effective terms. 
3.2. Good sales skills. 
3.3. Result-oriented. 
3.4. Strong networker who can reach out to customers and clients and initiate conversation with the key decision makers. 
3.5. Good communication and presentation skills.
