Sales and Business Development Manager


We are looking for a Sales and Business Development Manager Mobility – Africa to be based in Europe or Africa.
Role and Responsibilities:
• Understand the Mobile Data space and support the Mobility sales team in identifying potential MNOs customers that are interested in our portfolio of products
• Knowledge of specialist application of Mobile data and VAS services sales expertise on IPX, GRX, LTE Roaming, SCCP, SS7 Signaling, SMS A2P monetization and SMS Firewall protection, Anti SIM Box and OTT bypass solutions for MNOs globally.
• Support the Mobility sales team in developing relationships (or use existing relationships) with MNOs to ensure we gain access to RFPs
• Support the Mobility sales team in negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales while making sure to follow company process and policies
• For newly implemented customers, support the Mobility sales team to ensure all necessary documents are signed and customer related information is collected and correctly shared with the provisioning team
• Support the Mobility sales team when coordinating with the revenues assurance team and making sure that customers pay in time according to their current/expected run-rate
• Work closely with Presales and Product to ensure our products are in line with Customer Expectations and developments in the market
Requirements:
• 5+ years relevant experience in a similar position in the Mobile Eco System environment, either with a carrier, and MNO or, possibly, with a key industry player.
• Proven success track record
• Solid experience in the specific product range of SS7 Signaling, GRX, SMS. LTE Roaming Diameter Signalling, SMS A2P monetization and SMS Firewall protection, Anti SIM Box and OTT bypass solutions.
• Suitable general experience in telecommunication services e.g. basic understanding of elements such as voice traffic, TDM, MPLS, IPX, IP, IP/VPN etc.
• Good interpersonal communication and presentation skills
• Able to formulate and write commercial proposals and response to tender documents in English and French.
• Excellent command of both English and French. (Arabic is a plus)

• Willing to travel frequently to Africa, and other countries as required
