Regional Sales Director 


Objective:

The role is responsible for creating fast commercial relationships with target Customers and partners.

Target Customers: ISPs / Telcos / MNOs

Responsibilities:

To increase Sales Revenue from company’s existing business line by acquiring customers through direct and indirect sales by:

  1. Creating, implementing and executing Region-wide Sales Targets
  2. Working towards achieving targets - developing Strategy & Process
  3. Developing and maintaining Sales Rhythm - Sales Beat and Top of
  4. Funnel Sales (TOFS)
  5. Managing Partnerships with Channel Partners and Resellers
  6. Creating a constant supply on top of the funnel (industry events, marketing etc.)

Competencies:

Exceptional Leadership Skills will be a key competency, in addition to:

  1. Capability to generate leads, contacts and pre- & post-sales customer engagement
  2. Relationships with customers, SIs, server hardware vendors and sales partners
  3. General idea of the key elements of ISP networks
  4. Idea of IP Transit pricing and peering/CDN availability in the region
  5. Knowledge of negotiation techniques
  6. Experience in handling a team
