Product Manager
About The Role
We are seeking an experienced product management professional who is passionate about delivering solutions to our customers’ challenges. You will join a dynamic business operating in the global telecoms market and will work with multi-functional teams to launch new products that deliver the company strategy. Reporting directly to the Chief Operations Officer, the Product Manager will also oversee the performance and ongoing development of existing products.
Role Summary
You will be responsible for leading product development, strategy, and design from concept through development and market launch, to in-life performance and enhancement of new and existing products throughout the product lifecycle.
The Product Manager will have a strong commercial and market focus, matching demand with the development of solutions to improve customer experience while driving growth and market share for the company.
Responsibilities
· Maintain an in-depth understanding of the market and customer challenges.
· Own the execution of all processes in the product lifecycle, including market research, competitor analysis, planning, design, roadmap development, and product launch.
· Provided detailed documented requirements for development by the technical solution team.
· Create and maintain product documents that detail use cases, technical solutions, business cases and overall commercial performance per product.
· Produce product positioning and messaging to differentiate the company in our market and define product objectives to enable effective sales strategies and marketing campaigns.
· Create measurable KPIs to ensure product performance can be tracked.
· Employ a recognised product management methodology and introduce the same methodology to all product management related activity undertaken by the company.
Skills & Qualifications
· Minimum 3 years’ experience in a product management innovation and development role, with a proven track record of managing all aspects of successful products throughout the lifecycle.
· Bachelor’s degree in business, telecommunications or a related field; or equivalent relevant work experience.
· Demonstrable experience of successful delivery within the framework of a recognised product management methodology.
· Strong understanding of the telecoms and technology marketplace in which the company operates.
· Proven ability to develop and deliver new product strategies.
· Strong business acumen to enable focus and priority on products that deliver a win-win outcome for both customer and the company.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience of communicating effectively at all levels, including C-level. Must be experienced in creating and owning all product documentation.
· The ability to analyse and effectively interpret data.
