Manager SMS Operations


The Manager SMS Operations will be the internal evangelist for making sure that all operational teams work together towards implementing and managing the new SMS business day-to-day. This role will have interfaces to Product and Sales in order to ensure the customers are happy with the service. 
You will be able to:
• Realize a major new initiative and associate your name with its success
• Manage a new 3rd party messaging platform
• Get training on it while managing the 3rd party for necessary support and adaptations
• Run and operate the global SMS service, e.g. Routing, Pricing Management, Customer Support
• Collaborate across the global organizational spectrum, and communicating in both technical and business terms
• Ensure the successful delivery and constant development of our SMS solutions according to customers, market needs and company's qualitative and quantitative objectives
We would like to see:
• Proven work experience as an Operations Manager, Product Manager or relevant role in the field of SMS. Ideally, knowledge of SMS covers the US and international SMS ecosystem – across the value chain of carriers and SMS aggregators.
• You take a collaborative approach to work and you work well in a team environment.
• Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
• You have experience in working with teams "across the pond", i.e. in different locations, time zones and cultures.
