Manager - Media Access Manager

The Media Access Maager role will allow focus on the entire lifecycle of OU network management includes quotations, ordering and delivery management and help ensure adherence to contracted SLAs and ensure maximum satisfaction of our customers.

Major Responsibilities

• Ensure all regional connectivity requirements are gathered from all Global OU sporting event

• Work with the Media Services solutions team to identify suitable technologies and providers

• Take responsibility for all interaction with the providers.

• Sourcing of right commercials from media specific domestic and International carriers.

• On boarding of new providers

• Negotiation and agreement of the final solution and service with all providers, through a controlled RFP process

• Agreement of all SLAs (ensuring these are back-off against customer commitments)

• Managing the due-diligence on resilience, stability and diversity of the local networks

• Ensuring the full extent on the providers (and sub providers) NMS systems and response to immediate issues

• Oversee the contract agreement between the company and the providers

• Oversee the delivery of the local loops in line with the delivery plan

• Ensuring all operational documentation is provided in handovers

• Ensure suitable escalation paths to senior executives within the providers organisation

• Manage all service reviews and improvement plans with each regional provider

• Ensuring annual savings on contract renewals and ensuring contracts cover multiple events to create a wider cost savings

Skills Required:

• Significant experience in managing global network contracts

• Comprehensive understanding of networking technologies

• Media and Broadcast delivery experience

• Satellite delivery experience

• Service Management

• Project Management

• Stakeholder Management

• Relationship management

Background:

• Engineering/IT degree with at least 5 years of similar experience

• Solid network engineering background

• Experience working in a tier 1 telecommunications organization.

• Experience of creating and managing global network carrier contracts

• Operational experience of high impact WAN / Metro Networks
