SMS Operations Manager


The SMS Operations Manager will be the internal go-to person for making sure that all operational teams work together towards implementing and managing the new SMS business day-to-day. This role will have interfaces to Product and global sales team to ensure company's growth and development according to the business plan, its profitability and customers satisfaction with the service.
 

Key accountabilities:

- Manage the installation of a new 3rd party messaging platform
- Get training on it while managing the 3rd party for necessary support and adaptations
- Setup and integrate the internal structures/skills needed to run and operate the SMS service, e.g. Routing, Pricing Management, Customer Support
- Collaborate across the global organizational spectrum, and communicating in both technical and business terms
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to the business plan, customer needs and financial objectives
- Ensure an optimal communication with his/her line manager and elaborate coordinated plans across their functions oriented to maximize results influencing key stakeholders at all levels of an organisation

EDUCATION/ CERTIFICATION/ # OF YEARS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED/ REQUIRED SKILLS

- Proven work experience as an Operations Manager, Product Manager or relevant role in the field of SMS. Ideally, knowledge of SMS covers the US and international SMS ecosystem – across the value chain of carriers and SMS aggregators
- Entrepreneurial and proactive approach to work with teams "across the pond", i.e. in different locations, time zones and cultures
