Chief People Officer


The role

 We are seeking a Chief People Officer with global experience that will help us build a diverse, skilled, and ambitious team, spread over a number of global locations, working both remotely and in few dedicated office locations.

To be successful, you should demonstrate a sound understanding of corporate culture and possess excellent planning and organization skills. Ideally you should have proven experience in a multicultural environment, a keen eye for talent, excellent employer - branding knowledge and great interpersonal skills.

 You will spend at least half of your time at the group headquarters with expected regular travel to other locations as needs arise.


You will be expected to

  • Act as business partner to the CEO and be able to:
  • Understand and live the company’s culture and values;
  • Recognise and identify challenges in the multi-cultural environment we are operating in, predict outcomes and suggest mitigation strategies. This means you should anticipate and effectively manage people related issues.
  • Recommend strategies and prescribe actions to add value, resulting in the building, developing, and promoting our organization in a way that it is becoming efficient and appealing on a level above the competition, and is systematically recognized by employees and candidates as one of the best places to work in.


You should also 

  • Provide guidance and advice to executive-level managers on managing their teams performance and career development, ensuring compensation and benefits are in line with the various markets in which we operate, to provide a fair and equitable framework for the staff with clear KPI, goals and targets, conduct regular staff appraisals, provide job grading, career development guidance and succession plans.
  • Promote and strengthen the company’s culture and values


In order to contribute you need

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree qualified, in Human Resources and Business Administration with major in Human Resources. Psychology specialization or a degree will be a plus.
  • At least 10 years’ experience in Human resources, in multicultural organizations, with 5 years’ experience in a full spectrum of strategic HR management roles.
  • Good analytical skills, love numbers, capable of doing in-depth analysis and able to think strategically when making decisions.
  • Strong leadership skills, ability to lead, manage and motivate team members.
  • Team orientation with excellent interpersonal skills to engage with all levels of staff.
  • Fluent in at least two major languages.
