Business Development Director (LATAM)
Reports to – Vice President (Americas)
Job Role:
Candidate will be responsible for interconnecting with T1 Operators agreed mutually with the company in the region allotted. Management of those T1 Accounts to extract business opportunities for Voice/SMS/Top Up and Technology Solutions offered the company.
Key Responsibilities:
• To Interconnect/Manage/Negotiate with the T1 Operators in the region, where primary goal is to interconnect with the Operator for Voice.
• To ensure additional sources of business to be explored with the T1 Operator and engage in to long term recurring business.
• To Travel across the region to attend all shows/events approved by the Vice President and represent the company’s offerings to the prospective/existing clients.
• To Travel across the region and meet Operators Personally.
• To be open to Travel to Headquarters as required by Management from time to time.
• To involve in regional strategic decisions and laying plans on yearly/quarterly/monthly basis and implement them with the team allotted.
• To provide weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly reports dashboard to keep management updated about the progress (target v/s achievement)
• To increase/Achieve the Top Line/Bottom Line/Credit Line targets allocated
Business Impact:
• Increasing Company’s footprint in the region through creating a dense T1 Interconnect spread.
• Make the region stronger to attract world traffic and create an environment for Company to be able to terminate voice/sms/top up services in to the T1 Operators in the long run. Additionally create based on target deployments of technology with T1 Operators
Authority/Decision Making:
• Able to engage in discussions with Operators and discuss on company’s behalf the deals and conclude based on the Management Input.
• Able to sign NDA with Operators on behalf of the company.
